Postseason baseball often conjures up images of players and fans layered in cold weather gear, as the October days go by and the temperatures across America begin to drop. The World Series presented by YouTube TV is known as the Fall Classic, after all, so it is appropriate that the these critical series of games are often played in cooler temperatures.
2017 is going to be a little bit different.
Game 1 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (7:30 p.m. ET air time/8 p.m. ET game time on FOX) is forecasted to be played in close to 100-degree heat -- a far cry from the frigid conditions we watched the players compete in a year ago in Chicago and Cleveland.
This unusual forecast got us thinking: What's the craziest weather the Astros and Dodgers have ever played in? And would they prefer to play in the extreme heat or the extreme cold? Check out the clip above from World Series Media Day to find out.
