Francisco Lindor bought bathrobes for all his teammates on Players Weekend

For most of us, the weekend is a time for sleeping in, going to brunch and watching sports. In short, it's a time for rest and relaxation. For baseball players, Saturdays and Sundays are just other days of work.
To promote an atmosphere of weekend relaxation, Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor showed up at the clubhouse prior to Sunday's game against the Royals with bathrobes for all his teammates.

There was even a robe made for manager Terry Francona, who appreciated the gesture. "I don't think I'll ever wear it in public," he told MLB.com's Jordan Bastian. "But I did enjoy it."
While the Indians are unlikely to wear these robes on the field, the laid-back and relaxed atmosphere that they create could well have some positive impact on the playing field.
