Fathers and sons of players took to the mound on Father's Day with some impressive first pitches

Father's Day comes with a lot of cool things: time with family, barbecue, baseball, and some nifty alternate uniforms. One thing it has also brought is fathers and sons of players throwing out first pitches.
In Toronto, Blue Jays reliever Jason Grilli brought his sons out to the park to get the festivities started. They showed that they just may have inherited some of their father's control and command:
Over in Lansing, Mich., the roles were reversed as Vladimir Guerrero threw the first pitch to his son, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Though it appears the pitch ended up a bit out of the zone, it was surely in spot where Dad could do some damage.
In Philadelphia, Vince Velasquez gave his dad the gift of a well-framed pitch. At the same time, Leonard Velasquez showed where his son got his high-90s fastball.
As these father-son pairs showed, there's no better way to celebrate Father's Day than by having a catch in the yard.
