Eric Hosmer is cheering on his hometown Miami Heat this holiday season

Baseball players are sports fans just like us and, although much of their year is spent focused on baseball, the offseason provides the perfect opportunity for players to catch up on their other favorite sports. For Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer, who grew up in the Miami area, this means cheering on his hometown NBA team, the Miami Heat.

That's a sharp looking new jersey for Hosmer, even if it is a bit jarring to see him in red. Fortunately, in less than two months, he'll be back to baseball and Royals blue.
