Eight moments from the Astros' and Dodgers' postseason runs that would make great giveaways
There is nothing quite as fun and exciting as postseason baseball. But there is one thing that comes close: Free giveaways.
And no one gives away better swag to cover your walls and fill your shelves quite like baseball teams. As the Dodgers and Astros battle for World Series supremacy, here are the items we hope will show up at games next year that honor their postseason runs.
The Yasiel Puig Bobbletongue
It's almost as if Puig was aware of how cool this would look as a bobblehead when he dove into third base. If the Dodgers can find a way to also incorporate a squirt gun-like hole for water to replicate flecks of saliva, it would take the bobbletongue from a good promo to an all-time great.
Puig even offered another example of how the bobbletongue could be incorporated with the way he ended Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night:
The "George Springer posterizes Marwin Gonzalez" Figurine
In an all-out pursuit of a fly ball to protect the lead in ALCS Game 7, Springer and Gonzalez couldn't hear each other. That led to this picture-perfect grab made by Springer as he leaped over the super-utility man for the grab.
The "Vin Scully Celebrating At Home" Bobblehead
Vin Scully may not be calling Dodgers game any longer, but he is still pulling for the team. Add to your collection of Vin Scully bobbleheads, vintage microphones and vinyl records with this casual Vin bobble.
The Alex Bregman Protractor
With ALCS Game 7 in the balance and a runner on third, Alex Bregman fielded Todd Frazier's hopper to third. Rather than throw to first for the easy out, he decided to go home with a throw that had to put Brian McCann's glove where Greg Bird's leg was going. Celebrate Bregman's quick-thinking math skills with this handy protractor.

The Justin Turner Walk-Off Poster
Turner battered the ball to a career-high .945 OPS during the regular season. But, facing the best pitchers in the biggest moments, he's been even better. Let the excitement of his walk-off homer influence you every day.

The Outfield Wall Piggy Bank
It's important to keep your spare change in a convenient and secure spot. As Todd Frazier's double and George Springer's glove-tossing attempt proved, there is no place more secure than the Minute Maid Park outfield wall. Throw those nickels and dimes in the same spot.
The Three Enriques Figurine
Kiké Hernández shocked the world and closed out the NLCS with a brilliant three-homer game. The Dodgers should honor him with a figurine capturing all three crucial parts of his day: His swing, his celebratory run and -- what we can all relate to -- his high-five.
The Justin Verlander Alarm Clock
Verlander took home the ALCS MVP honors behind 16 innings of one-run ball against the Yankees, including a seven-inning appearance in a must-win Game 6. Were it not for a literal last-minute deal at 11:59 p.m. on August 31, though, he never would have been an Astro -- and who knows how the series would have turned out?
What makes this alarm clock different than all others, though, is that this one rings only once a day -- at 11:59 p.m., when the deal was struck -- and features a broadcast call from one of Verlander's two postseason starts.
