The Dodgers knew they were getting a power bat when they acquiredManny Machado recently. What they didn't know was they could very well be a target of his -- that was until Friday night.
In the top of the ninth inning during the Dodgers' 4-1 win over the Braves, Machado hit a foul line drive on the first pitch of his at-bat. This ball was lasered into the Dodgers' dugout and everyone took cover -- but Clayton Kershaw's reaction was priceless:
Manager Dave Roberts advised Machado to hit the ball in between the lines, which is a good tip. Remember that for next time, Machado -- that way Justin Turner doesn't run for the nearest catcher's mask for protection again.
