We desperately need to know how the Diddy family baseball game went down
Over the weekend, P. Diddy held a birthday party for his son, actor and musician Quincy Brown. But this wasn't just any birthday party. This was a family baseball throwdown -- perfect timing for Quincy to get some extra practice in before he takes part in the MLB All-Star celebrity softball game on July 7.
The family split into two sides, with Quincy's side using the moniker Frequincy (get it?) and his brothers Christian and Justin heading up team CYN.
Of course, because this was a Diddy family party, Diddy himself sang “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before the start of the game and then took over commentator duties. There were also a variety of other celebrities on hand, including Luke James, DaniLeigh and Jackie Long.
In the end, no one took it easy on the birthday boy, as team Frequincy went down to CYN, 15-8. Which is all well and good, but there's one problem: there's no video! As far as I was able to find, there are no photos, either. This Diddy family baseball game, loaded with stars and talent, will go down as one of the greatest blink-and-you'll-miss-it ballgames in history, up there with Merkle's Boner or Ruth's called shot.
What were the outfits like? What is Diddy's play-by-play style? Did Quincy go deep? I guess we'll just have to imagine it.
