Derek Dietrich walked it off for the Marlins and decided he no longer needed his jersey

With the Marlins in the thick of the postseason chase and declaring themselves buyers at the non-waiver Trade Deadline, every win from here on out is huge -- especially wins that come against the Cardinals, the team with which they entered Sunday tied for the final NL Wild Card spot. So when Derek Dietrich lined a triple to give Miami a 5-4 win over the Redbirds, he was pretty pumped: His first career walk-off couldn't have come at a better time.
But just how pumped was he? So pumped, he could no longer keep his shirt on:
So pumped that he briefly transformed into the Hulk:
"I can't say I haven't walked around with my shirt off before, so it was a little uncomfortable," Dietrich told MLB.com's Joe Frisaro after the game. "But it was a fun moment, definitely, to have an opportunity to be up there to win the game after not playing a couple games."
His new teammate Andrew Cashner, however, wasn't buying it: "I think he was excited to get his shirt ripped off."
And of course, no walk-off would be complete without that most sacred of traditions: a man in a monkey mask throwing a pie in his face.
Mmm, pie.
