The Yankees beat the A's, 6-2, on Sunday afternoon -- and among the highlights from the day was a particularly slick defensive play from reliever Dellin Betances.
Leading off the eighth inning, Matt Joyce cracked a grounder up the middle, destined for either center field or an infielder's glove. But Betances instinctively reached out his glove, and speared the play with a no-look, backhanded effort:
You can't practice that. It just happens, and it's always impressive.
