Sci-fi salsa and a dance-off later, David Ross survives another round of 'Dancing With the Stars'
There's a reason the cinema has persevered over the years, remaining one of our absolute favorite methods of entertainment. The storytelling, the iconic actors and filmmakers who have worked on projects, the sheer enjoyment we get out of watching something unfold on the big screen.
Also a favorite method of entertainment for a lot of us is David Ross and his lengthy run on "Dancing With the Stars," which continued again on Monday night for another themed episode, this time on -- you guessed it -- "A Night at the Movies."
DWTS sent out this alluring teaser video right before the program aired, implying that Team #LadyAndTheGramp would be partaking in some interstellar-styled dancing this time around:
And Ross vowed to live-tweet some of the program as it aired, for maximum impact:
Meanwhile, over at Wrigley Field, the Phillies-Cubs series opener was in a bit of a rain delay ... so Ross posited a question:
And as we've seen before during Ross' DWTS run, the Cubs obliged:
As the show rolled along, Ross weighed in regarding some of his co-stars' performances on the night:
When it was time for Ross and Lindsay Arnold to bust out their routine, it was indeed a "Space Salsa":
In the end, Ross and Arnold persevered -- they actually lost the dance-off but advanced thanks to fan voting. As a result, America's favorite #LadyAndTheGramp are in the competition's final five!
So yes, there will be more #GrandpaRossy on DWTS next week (and perhaps beyond?)
