Murphy fields grounder, heads toward dugout, realizes there are only two outs

In the third inning of Monday night's 4-1 loss to the Dodgers, Daniel Murphy fielded a Clayton Kershaw grounder and flipped to first for the out. And, since he was already moving to his left, he decided he would keep on running all the way to the dugout:

A nice, smooth play indeed. There was only one problem: That was only the second out. Luckily, Murphy had Gio Gonzalez there to helpfully remind him to get back on the diamond: 

When faced with such a public slip-up, there's only one thing to do: Make yourself look as silly as you feel.

It's OK, Daniel. Your .356 batting average leads the Majors, so you just haven't had all that much experience with outs this season.
