D-backs third-base coach Tony Perezchica tried waving a runner home but took a tumble instead

Third-base coaches have a lot to do. When they're not relaying signs from the dugout to baserunners or hitters, they're watching out for foul balls, and when there's a significant play developing, they have to get in position and instruct runners to head home (or not).
In Friday's Dodgers-D-backs game at Chase Field, Arizona coach Tony Perezchica was totally caught up in the moment when David Peralta laced an eighth-inning single to left field. Brandon Drury, who had doubled, headed for third and Perezchica was ready to direct him home -- but he didn't. Instead, this happened:
At the time, Arizona trailed Los Angeles, 5-4, so Drury represented the potential tying run. Obviously, it could have spelled disaster for Perezchica and the D-backs, had this rally fizzled away due to his slip and fall.
In the end, though, his tumble was nothing more than an amusing precursor to what would be a nine-run inning for Arizona en route to its 13-5 win over the Dodgers.
