Cole Hamels returned to Philadelphia for a 76ers game and received a standing ovation
Cole Hamels might be a Ranger these days, but even after two and a half years away from his original team, the Phillies, he is still fondly remembered by their fans. And why not? Hamels was essential to their streak of five straight division titles from 2007-11 and their championship run in 2008, sweeping MVP honors in both the NLCS and the World Series.

That ovation definitely qualifies as the kind of brotherly love that Hamels knew all too well in his days as a Phillie.
