Chris Archer takes over MLB Snapchat and trolls Red Sox fan at Rays Spring Training

Chris Archer has a tremendous amount of promise as a starting pitcher: The 27-year-old right-hander is coming off a season in which he set career bests in starts, innings pitched, WAR and wins. But Archer's got the skills to do more than just pitch.
Last season he proved he's got a face (and voice) made for TV when he starred as a guest analyst on Baseball Tonight and ESPN's postseason broadcasts, and now it looks like he's got a future in social media, too.
On Tuesday, Archer was handed the keys to MLB's Snapchat account, and the results were predictably wonderful. He sought advice on the state of his facial hair, took a selfie with fans, threw [fire emoji] during a bullpen session and still managed to find time to troll a Red Sox fan.
"So, this young man right here wanted a picture, but his mom had this [Red Sox] hat. Sorry kid, not happenin'."
Archer finished his takeover by asking fellow pitcher and AL East rival Marcus Stroman to hang out - isn't that sweet? To get access to a whole new world of insight into your favorite players and teams, be sure to follow MLB on Snapchat:
