Before the Dodgers took down the Giants, 9-0, on Sunday night, they had a special guest for the ceremonial first pitch. Olympic snowboarder (and food enthusiast) Chloe Kim was in town and ready for the spotlight. After all, when you've won a gold medal in the women's halfpipe for the United States in Pyeongchang, what's the pressure of a first pitch?
The Olympic theme played and Kim delivered her pitch:
She bounced it, but don't worry -- she still got to snap some cool photos afterward.
Just ask Dodgers legend Tommy Lasorda:
Lasorda won a gold medal in baseball for managing Team USA at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, so it was an Olympic reunion of sorts (even though Kim was born just months before Lasorda's win).
Kim also met another young phenom in 2017 National League Rookie of the Year Cody Bellinger:
All in all, it was a pretty great night for the 17-year-old Olympic hero. She thought so, too.
