CC Sabathia is just fine with everyone hating the Yankees again

Thanks to an influx of young, charismatic talent (and all the pursuant dingers), the 2017 Yankees were, dare we say it, pretty likable -- a strange word to describe a franchise with 27 World Series titles and a legal claim on the phrase "Evil Empire."
After pushing the Astros to a Game 7 in last year's ALCS and acquiring Giancarlo Stanton , though, it's safe to say those good vibes are gone for 2018. And C.C. Sabathia, for one, is just fine with that: "Getting Giancarlo just brings us back to being that hated team," the lefty told Hot Stove back on Jan. 18. "That's what we like. We want to go out there, put the best team on the field and crush everybody every game."
Those comments ruffled a few feathers, so Sabathia visited Harold Reynolds and Matt Vasgersian in the MLB Network studio on Monday to clarify a few things. Click on the video above to watch the full exchange, but don't expect him to change his tune: "We want that big dog presence back."
