A well-positioned Cardinals fan caught Jedd Gyorko's homer barehanded

The Cardinals and Brewers played a hard-fought contest at Busch Stadium on Monday night, with Milwaukee coming out on top, 7-5. The game went 10 innings, and the hometown fans had to thank Jedd Gyorko for simply getting them that far.
Gyorko made one Cardinals fan even more grateful than the others. In the bottom of the eighth inning with St. Louis trailing, 4-2, the infielder smoked a pitch from Jacob Barnes a long way into right-center field. No doubt remembering a time-honored baseball axiom, the fan (donned in a gray jersey with a red hoodie) kept his eye on the ball and watched as it fell right into his hands.
He didn't even need a glove to make the catch; Kevin Mitchell would be proud.
Gyorko wasn't done yet, though. After the Cardinals forced extra innings and the Brewers jumped ahead in the 10th, Gyorko did everything he could to keep the game alive as he led off the home half.
This one also sailed toward right-center, but it was a full section over. The Cardinals couldn't muster anything else, though, and they went down in order after the blast to lose the game.
Nonetheless, it was a fine attempt anyway by Gyorko to offer a second souvenir to the fan, 2005 Astros-style.
