During Sunday's 8-0 win over the Cardinals, Reds rookie catcher and Rule 5 Draft pick Stuart Turner collected his first Major League hit on a double to lead off the third inning.
To commemorate the 25-year-old's first hit in The Show, a friend of Turner's brother decided to purchase the second-base bag Turner ended up on as a result of his hit.
According to MLB.com Reds beat writer Mark Sheldon, the base set the friend back $200, but that will all be worth it for the look on Turner's face when he gets this souvenir.
