BTS star Yoongi took in a Dodgers game in a Hyun-Jin Ryu jersey
Celebrity sightings in Los Angeles are nothing new. It's not rare to wait in line at the trendy coffee shop down the street and see somebody from that one show you heard about or that band you saw last week at Coachella.
The same goes for games at Dodger Stadium, which attract a number of A-list attendees every now and then ... but Tuesday night's Braves-Dodgers game brought out one of the biggest pop stars in the world at the moment: Yoongi (stage name Suga), of the Korean pop group BTS, who wore a Hyun Jin Ryu jersey to the ballpark to watch the Korean left-hander take the mound for the Dodgers.
Yoongi was proud to be sporting a Ryu jersey when he made it on the video boards:
Shout-out to Dodgers organist Dieter Ruehle for playing part of "Idol," one of BTS' biggest songs, after Ryu struck out Ronald Acuña Jr. in the fifth inning:

He's in town between gigs with BTS, who just packed the gigantic Rose Bowl in Pasadena for a pair of sold-out shows, as their North American takeover is in full effect after making their debut on "Saturday Night Live" last month.
This is now at least the second time Ryu has drawn the attention of a Korean pop megastar to Dodger Stadium, as back in 2013 Psy took in a game -- making sure to bust out his "Gangnam Style" dance in the aisles:
In both of these games, by the way, Ryu was dominant, throwing six innings of two-run ball in '13 to beat the Rockies and throwing a complete game shutout (on just 93 pitches, good for a "Maddux") in the Dodgers' 9-0 win.
All in all, a pretty eventful night in Los Angeles.
And to cap it all off, Ryu met the pop star after the game, as well.
