Bryce Harper isn't wasting any time recruiting other stars to join him in Philly

On Thursday afternoon, the Phillies and Bryce Harper reportedly agreed to a 13-year, $330 million contract, ending months of free-agent drama.

Apparently, Harper wanted a long-term deal so that he can be a big part of the organization -- and part of that includes recruiting other stars to join him in Philadelphia. Presumably, that mostly applies to bringing star baseball players to the Phillies, but it's clearly not limited to the Phillies. Case in point: Harper's first (?) recruiting mission was to free agent running back Le'Veon Bell.

Bell would be a major catch for Harper just days into his lengthy tenure in Philadelphia. If he succeeds, it won't just be the Phillies who are happy he decided to sign in the City of Brotherly Love. It could be a great 13 years for the Sixers, Flyers, Eagles, Union and, yes, the Phillies.
