It's no secret that Bryce Harper is a fan of the Vegas Golden Knights. He teamed up with fellow Vegas native Kris Bryant in November to take in a game of the NHL expansion franchise's inaugural season. He returned in December to drop the puck before its game against the Washington Capitals:

And, just last month as the team was just starting its run to the Stanley Cup Finals, Harper showed his fandom by putting the Golden Knights' logo on his bat:

Now with his hometown hockey team waiting to see who it'll play for the Stanley Cup, Harper is as invested as ever. In the video above, the Nationals' outfielder talks about what it's like to be a fan of a team in his hometown. "Being able to have our own team in Las Vegas ... has been unbelievable," Harper said.
Harper's first foray into true fandom has gone swimmingly so far with the Golden Knights winning the Western Conference in their first NHL season. Here's hoping he doesn't experience the heartbreak that often comes with the joy of being a fan.
