Don't try to rob George Springer of a home run right now, or you'll lose your glove

Heads up to the rest of MLB: Do not try to prevent George Springer from mashing like he's been mashing since moving to the top of the Astros' batting order last week. It will not end well for you.
In Tuesday's 8-5 win over the D-backs, Springer continued his hot streak, putting in the kind of performance that can best be described as "a giddy smile at first base after an RBI single:"

He led things off with a double, then followed with a home run in the second inning. Like we said: On. A. Tear.

Unfortunately for D-backs right fielder Brandon Drury, he thought he could contain Springer. When he saw the ball headed over the outfield wall, he attempted a leaping catch to rob Springer of his homer. He must've missed the memo, and it cost him his glove:

Drury eventually got his glove back, and Springer finished 3-for-4 -- a triple shy of the cycle -- with four RBIs. Lesson learned, hopefully.
