The Bowie Baysox take their name very literally with bedazzled David Bowie jerseys

The Bowie Baysox, Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, don't pronounce their name the way you might think: It's actually "Boo-ee," after the Maryland town where the team's ballpark is located. For Friday night's game against the Erie SeaWolves, however, the Baysox will change their name to something a little more phonetic -- from Bowie to, well, Bowie, in honor of David Bowie Tribute Night.
There will be tributes, fireworks and, of course, music throughout the night. But the team knew that no tribute to the man who managed to rock a leather pant-suit would be complete without some fashion innovation. So they came prepared -- with not just any commemorative David Bowie uniforms, but the David Bowie-est uniforms imaginable:

The team even plans to auction the jerseys off after the game, allowing you to finally realize your dreams of becoming Ziggy Stardust: Hall of Famer.
