In addition to his speed, Billy Hamilton is known for his top-tier defense in center field for the Reds. As it turns out, those smooth hands don't abandon you when you take off the glove.
Hamilton was standing in the on-deck circle during the third inning of the Reds' 7-4 comeback win on Tuesday night over the Indians when his teammate, Alex Blandino, cracked a hard foul off the dirt behind home plate ... right at Hamilton.
The outfielder's instincts took over:
Nice grab and an even better dance at the end!
It might not be a putout for Hamilton on the scorecard, but it counts for cool points in our book.
You're welcome, Billy.
