Travis Scott threw the first pitch as the Astros wore hats commemorating his 'Wish You Were Here' tour
The Astros had a special guest at Minute Maid Park for their Saturday night game against the A's. Rapper Travis Scott was back in his hometown to throw the ceremonial first pitch ...
... and to show off a special new Astros hat.
Scott's latest album was called "Astroworld," and the team jumped on board by releasing a hat. Alex Bregman was among the first players to highlight it on social media for him:
As Lance McCullers Jr. showed though, the hat featured more than just the extra stars. They also had "Wish You Were Here" stitched on the back to commemorate Scott's album tour.
The players were definitely into the new look. Perhaps it reflected in their performance on the field later on, as they shut out the A's, 6-0.
