Prepare for Halloween with this animated version of Jarrod Saltalamacchia's spooky ghost story

Hotels are considered hotbeds of paranormal activity and, with ballplayers constantly on the road, they have plenty of chances to come into contact with beings from beyond the veil. Milwaukee's Pfister Hotel is likely the most famous for big league spirit sightings, but St. Petersburg's Vinoy Renaissance is quickly catching up. 
Though baseball players are sometimes shy to share their ghost stories, former catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia has no problem telling his story. After first telling his phantasmic experience when the Red Sox took on the Rays in September, the art skills of MLB.com's Ana Benaroya and animation by Andres Payan have brought his story to life. Or, if you want to get into the Halloween spirit, to death.
