Andrew McCutchen gave a sassy look to former teammate Gerrit Cole after almost getting hit

Andrew McCutchen and Gerrit Cole played five exciting years together with the Pirates from 2013-17. They helped break the Bucs' 21-year playoff drought and bring winning baseball back to Pittsburgh.
Now, though, they find themselves opponents, and on Tuesday night, they squared off during the Astros' 11-2 win over the Giants. If there was any slight chance that McCutchen thought Cole would treat him differently than most batters, it was erased when a 97 mph fastball from Cole came up and in on him during the fourth inning:

Yeah, that look just about nails it.
McCutchen was immediately laughing after making the face, but it was Cole who won the battle on Tuesday. Cole struck him out twice and even made him his 100th strikeout victim on the season:

At this point, McCutchen might very well be yearning for the days when he never had to step into the batter's box against Cole. So it goes.
