Andrelton Simmons and Kaleb Cowart played a little impromptu soccer after a groundout

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better defensive shortstop in baseball than Andrelton Simmons. He is an absolute magician with the glove, and, as it turns out, his dexterity isn't limited to his hands.
During the Angels' Tuesday night game against the A's, Jed Lowrie grounded out to second baseman Kaleb Cowart to end the top of the first inning. Instead of throwing the ball around, Cowart decided to kick it to Simmons, and the two players dribbled the ball back and forth as they left the field:
As the Angels' broadcast team noted, Simmons and first baseman C.J. Cron are known to play soccer video games in the clubhouse, so to see the Angels' infield doing this is hardly a surprise.
The area will have a new soccer team joining MLS in 2018 -- Los Angeles FC. Maybe Simmons and company should look into tryouts. A baseball/soccer multi-sport star would be fun!
