Robbing a homer to end a game isn't supposed to be as easy as Alex Gordon made it look

With thousands of eyes on you during a game, watching your every move, not to mention thousands more watching the broadcast, your style is everything. 
The Royals beat the White Sox on Sunday, 14-6, to win the weekend series at Guaranteed Rate Field. It wasn't a very close game, as the final score would indicate, and yet it ended with a bang thanks to the outfield exploits of Royals star Alex Gordon.
With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Nicky Delmonico lofted a deep drive to right-center. Surely a home run, right? Maybe in other situations, yes, but not with four-time Gold Glove Award winner Gordon out there: 

Gordon made that look pretty easy, and he told MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan after the game that, yup, it felt easy too:
"Something like that just happens kind of quick. You really don't have time to think about it. I just took a good route to it and had a clean jump. It felt pretty easy. That's all I can really say about that."
As for Mr. Delmonico, playing in the 12th game of his young career, he'll have to try again for his second career homer. Preferably on a day Gordon isn't out there.
