After Chris Taylor led off the first inning with a first-pitch, 447-foot home run to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead in World Series Game 1 presented by YouTube TV on Tuesday, the Astros struck back. In the bottom of the fourth, Alex Bregman -- all 23 years and 208 days of him -- tied the game up with a solo dinger. He was the youngest American League player to hit a Fall Classic home run in 22 years. Since 1995. Since Manny Ramirez -- at 23 years, 148 days old:

Manny's may also hold the record for longest World Series HR trot. Addison Russell (2016), Michael Conforto (2015), Miguel Cabrera (2003) and Andruw Jones (1996) have all done it at a younger age than Ramirez and Bregman on the NL side.
How does that make you feel, Alex?

Cool.
Unfortunately for Bregman, the Dodgers won the game, 3-1, behind a dominant Clayton Kershaw. Watch Game 2 of the World Series presented by YouTube TV on Wednesday on FOX (7:30 p.m. ET air time, 8 ET game time).
