A.J. Hinch left an in-game interview to make a pitching change, but he was polite about it

A.J. Hinch proved multitasking is an easy feat for him -- specifically, in the middle of a game.
In the top of the 4th inning during Monday's Astros-Mets matchup, Tomás Nido smacked a double off the left-field wall on a Hector Rendon delivery. While this was going on, Hinch happened to be in the middle of an interview with the broadcast team. He politely excused himself after the hit and ... made a pitching change.
Even during the interview, the Astros skipper was still handling his managerial duties: He still took notes and checked in with pitching coach Brent Strom. That's impressive.
"[Strom's] going to blame this whole inning on the fact that I was on the broadcast with you guys," Hinch said.
After Rondon's outing, he didn't return to the dugout -- it appeared the interview was over.
Nevertheless, we now know there is nothing Hinch can't handle.
