The 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot presented by BuildSubmarines.com will determine the eight (8) position players and one (1) designated hitter in the American League and the National League, who will start the 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard. Earlier this MLB season, each MLB Club nominated one (1) player for each infield position, three (3) players for the outfield and one (1) player for the designated hitter spot. Voting will take place in two (2) phases. The first phase will begin at 12:00 p.m. ET on June 5, 2024, and end at 12:00 p.m. ET on June 27, 2024. During the first phase of voting there is a limit of five (5) ballot submissions per single, valid email address each single day that voting is open. Voting totals will reset at 12am local time dependent upon where the voter resides.

Nominees are separated by League and position and are listed alphabetically by last name (with first initial) and Club affiliation.

Fans may select players as follows:

For each League:
One (1) player for each infield position;
Three (3) players for outfield positions; and
One (1) player for the designated hitter spot.

A "write-in" space is also provided for fans to vote for alternate players not listed on the ballot. Fans may write-in one (1) player for each position, but may only enter that player’s name as a write-in once per ballot.

Combined high votes received and determined valid during the first phase will decide the following:
The top one (1) overall vote getter in each League. Those players will automatically earn starting roster spots in their designated positions for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard.
For the remaining positions not filled by the top vote getters, the top two (2) players for each of the infield positions in each League, the top six (6) players for outfield positions in each League (or, if the top vote getter in a League fills an outfield position, the top four (4) players, after the top vote getter, for outfield positions in such League), and the top two (2) players for the one (1) designated hitter spot in each League. Those players will remain on The 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot presented by BuildSubmarines.com during the second phase of voting.

The second phase will begin at 12:00 p.m. ET on June 30, 2024, and end at 12:00 p.m. ET on July 3, 2024. Fans may select players as set forth above. High votes received and determined valid during the second phase will decide for each League the seven (7) or eight (8) remaining starting position players and, if remaining, the one (1) designated hitter spot for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard.

During the second phase of voting there is a limit of one (1) ballot submission per single, valid email address per daily voting window below, for a maximum total of four (4) ballot submissions per single, valid email address.

Ballots generated by a script, macro or other mechanical, automated means will be disqualified. Over-votes in any category or those that do not comply with these voting guidelines will not be recorded. Fans must use a valid email address when voting. By voting, fans give their express permission to receive limited commercial emails related to their ballot participation (including notification at or around the time the second phase of voting begins) from MLB.com.

In cases where a listed player is traded to or signs with another MLB Club, previous vote totals will be retained by that player. MLB Advanced Media, L.P. operates and certifies secure voting systems and reserves the right to disallow votes and/or disqualify voters if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent votes have been cast or if it determines, in its sole discretion, that there has been any deliberate attempt to inappropriately manipulate or unfairly influence the result of the vote or otherwise violate the MLB.com Terms of Use.
