- Each participant receives:

• Tickets to a 2008 Texas Rangers Home Game*

Gifts are handed out on the first date of camp at gift registration/check-in. *subject to blackout dates
- When and where do we check-in for the camps? »
- Check-in for campers will be at the Dr Pepper Youth Ballpark (located on the North side of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington). Campers can start checking at 8:15 a.m. on the first day of camp. Parents should make sure that all forms are complete and on file before arriving at check-in.
- Is there special instruction for catchers? »
- We do not offer specific position camps for catchers. However, camp coaches are available to assist in the skill development of those who choose to play that position.
- How many campers do you have at a typical camp? »
- An average Texas Rangers Baseball Camp has between 60-70 campers per week. Each camper is broken down into small groups based on their age and abilities. We can make arrangements for friends who are attending camp together to be in the same group if desired.
- Are parents allowed to watch their children? »
- We encourage parents/guests to attend if they would like to watch the activities that take place at the Dr Pepper Youth Ballpark. Once we head to the indoor facilities at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington parents/guests are not allowed to attend due to security restrictions.
- How do the parents find out daily camp activities? »
- A schedule of daily camp activities and team assignments will be handed out during registration/check-in at the beginning of camp. Game schedules will be updated daily and posted on the concession stand window at the Dr Pepper Youth Ballpark.
- Should the campers bring their own equipment? »
- Texas Rangers Baseball Camp provides baseballs and helmets if needed. We strongly encourage campers to bring their own equipment (bat, gloves baseball, tennis shoes, etc). We also strongly recommend that each camper includes their name on everything prior to arriving to camp. NO METAL SPIKES ARE ALLOWED.
- What happens when it rains? »
- We stay on schedule with the baseball activities as much as possible in times of rain. If the rain is too heavy (or if there is lightning or thunder present), our first goal is to maintain the safety of everyone at the complex. We have an indoor facility at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, so our rain plan contains various options so we can still accommodate all campers.
- Are awards given out? »
- There are no individual awards given at any of the camps. Our camps are not designed to turn a camper into a first round draft pick over night. Each camper will receive a certificate of completion for attending a Texas Rangers Baseball Camp.
- What is the camper-to-coaches ratio? »
- The ratios we generally use at our camps are 8:1 - 10:1. This will allow our coaches a better opportunity to give each camper the attention they need to improve their baseball skills.
- Do you complete background checks? »
- All coaches and camp staff go through a thorough background check completed by the Texas Rangers Human Resources Department. It is our goal to provide a top notch staff with your child safety in mind.
- Will there be any current Rangers players and/or coaches attending the camps? »
-
