MILAN JOSE TOLENTINO...Senior season at Santa Margarita High School (Calif.) was cut short due to the COVID pandemic...Participated in the 2019 Perfect Game All-America Game and was committed to UCLA upon signing with Cleveland…Also a member of the 2019 18U Team USA (won silver medal at Worlds)...Father, José, helped the University of Texas win the 1983 College World Series alongside Roger Clemens and Calvin Schiraldi before embarking on a 15-year professional career that included one year in the big leagues (44 games with Astros in 1991)... José was a long-time broadcaster for the LA Angels Spanish radio & Fox Deportes and also managed Team Mexico in the 2008 Olympics and was the hitting/bench coach for their 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classic teams...Hobbies growing up included soccer, surfing and free diving in Southern California.

2025

Had best season to date at AAA-Columbus, setting new career-bests in almost every offensive category while becoming the first 20-HR/ 20-SB player in Columbus history...20th HR was a grand slam at St. Paul on Sept. 11 (second of year)...Since 2000, he and Bo Naylor (2022) are the only Cleveland Minor Leaguers to reach the marks... Among org. leaders was tied for second in HR and tied for fifth in RBI...Was on the seven-day IL with a sore right shoulder, Aug. 15- 25 (first time in career)...Recorded an RBI in eight straight games, June 18-26 (10 RBI)...Drove in 16 runs with seven HR in 21 June games...Hit .294 (32-for-109) with RISP and just .138 (11-for-80, six 2B, zero HR) vs. LHP...Defensively, he made 46 starts at SS, 33 starts at 2B, 32 starts at 3B and six starts at DH. 

2024

Spent year in utility role for AA Akron, again earning Player of Month honors for July, this time in the Eastern League...Hit .366/.402/.610 with five home runs and 16 RBI in 21 games for the month, leading the EL in average, hits (30), total bases (67), slugging percentage and OPS (1.012). Posted 11 multi-hit games and had his first career multi-home run game on July 10 in Reading...RBI in five straight games, July 3-11...Raised season average from .225-.265 in July...Has never been on the IL in his pro career... Made 56 starts at shortstop, 36 starts at third base and 14 starts at second base.

2023

Split year between High-A Lake County and AA Akron, earning Midwest League Player of the Month honors in July, posting a pair of 11-game hit streaks...For the month batted .376 (35-for-93) with 11 XBH and 16 RBI in 23 games (20RS)...Promoted to Akron on 8/4.

2022

Split year between A Lynchburg and High-A Lake County...Started year with Hillcats before 6/13 promotion to LC...His .333 average and .434 on-base percentage were both second in the Carolina League at the time of his promotion... Swiped career-high 29 bags in 32 attempts and drew 76 walks (Fourth-most BB and second-most 2B in system w/30).

2021

Spent most of first pro season in the Arizona Complex League before an Aug. 24 promotion to Single-A Lynchburg...His 31 RBI were T6th in the ACL.
