Was recalled on May 8 and made his Major League debut on May 9 at San Francisco...Enjoyed four Major League stints in his first big league season...Recorded his first MLB hit in his second career game on May 12 vs. NYM (single off Megill)...Hit first career home run Aug. 11 vs. Oakland (Long)...Also homered in the final series of the season, Sept. 29 at Atlanta (Winans)...Went 10-for-35 (.286) with runners in scoring position from Aug. 1 through the end of the season...Played 27 games in left field, 17 games at second base and five games at third base...Made one error in 402.0 innings (.992 fielding percentage).

Washington’s Nationals Way Award winner...Led the Minor League system in average (.298), slugging percentage (.507), OPS (.872), doubles (40), extra-base hits (62) and total bases (252)...Finished the season on a 20-game on-base streak, hitting in each of the final 14 games...He had hits in 19 of the 20 games during the streak...Won International League Player of the Month in September...At third base, led all of Minor League Baseball (infielders and outfielders) with 17 defensive runs saved, according to Baseball Info Solutions.

Ranked among Nationals Minor Leaguers in hits (4th, 96), doubles (T6th, 22), extra-base hits (T6th, 34) and runs scored (10th, 48)...Hit .281/.332/.444 in 95 games between High-A Wilmington and Double-A Harrisburg.
