Charles Alexander McAdoo...Is related (distant cousins) to two-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, James Michael McAdoo, as well as two-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, five-time All-Star, three-time scoring champion, former MVP (1974-75, and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Bob McAdoo...Graduated from De La Salle High School in Concord Calif., where he helped lead his team to the state championship and was named the team’s most improved player in three straight seasons...During his high school career, he also received first team All-EBAL honors...Attended San Jose State from 2021-23, playing in total of 133 games, batting .325 with 43 doubles, five triples, 24 home runs, 119 RBI, a .572 SLG and a .968 OPS...During his collegiate career, he was named to the All-Stanford Regional Team (2023), the Collegiate Baseball All-American Second Team (2022), the ABCA/Rawlings West All-Region Second Team (2022), First Team All-Mountain West (2022, 2023) and Academic All-Mountain West (2021, 2022).

Named the 2024 SAL Most Valuable Player as well as a SAL Post-Season All-Star...Began the season at High-A Greensboro, where he hit .336 with 15 doubles, four triples, nine home runs, 52 RBI, a .413 wOBA, .561 SLG, .224 ISO, .975 OPS, 10.5% walk rate and 21.7% strikeout rate...Before his promotion to Double-A, he was leading the league in AVG, OBP (.415), total bases (125) and hits (75)...Earned the SAL Player of the Week on June second, after he hit. 526 (10-for-19) with three doubles, four RBI and a 1.256 OPS...Promoted to Double-A Altoona in June, where he hit .269 with 12 extra-base hits, 11 RBI, 11% walk rate, 24.6% strikeout rate, .355 wOBA, .490 SLG, .221 ISO and an .838 OPS...After being traded to the Blue Jays at the trade deadline, was then assigned to Double-A New Hampshire, where he appeared in 37 games, recording 23 total hits, six doubles, a triple, three homers and 15 RBI...Spent most of his time defensively at third base (768 innings), while also spending time at right field (134.1 innings), first base (57 innings) and as the team’s designated hitter (eight games).

After being selected in the 13th round of the 2023 Draft, was assigned to Single-A Bradenton to begin his professional career...In his 28 games with Bradenton, batted .302 (29-for-96) with nine extra-base hits, 24 RBI, 14.9% walk rate, 19.3% strikeout rate, .412 OBP, .510 SLG, .923 OPS and 40.3% hard-hit rate.
