Bradley Ryan Lord...Graduated from Wakulla High School (Crawfordville, Fla.)...Attended Gulf Coast College (Perkinston, Miss.), Santa Fe Community College (Gainesville, Fla.) and University of South Florida...During his redshirt junior season, he was 3-7 with a 5.25 ERA and struck out 60 in 61.2 innings...At Wakulla High School, pitched three no-hitters, including the first game of his senior season, and another combined no-hitter...As a senior, struck out 75 and walked just 12 in 48 innings.

Pitched at three levels, led the Nationals organization in ERA...Was one of just two pitchers in Minor League Baseball to win 10 games, pitch to an ERA less than 2.50 and strike out 100...Ranked in the Nationals organization in ERA (first, 2.43), wins (second, 10), strikeouts (second, 135), opponents batting average (second, .224), WHIP (fourth, 1.20) and innings pitched (fifth, 129.2)...Won the Nationals Way Award after the season as the Nationals Minor Leaguer who best demonstrates the professionalism, leadership, loyalty, passion, selflessness, durability, determination and work ethic required to play the game the “Washington Nationals Way.”...Finished 10-4 with a 2.43 ERA, 135 strikeouts and 49 walks across 25 starts between High-A Wilmington, Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester...Was twice named Eastern League Pitcher of the Month (May and June) and earned one Eastern League Pitcher of the Week award (June 17)...Was 5-0 with an 0.87 ERA (3 ER/31.0 IP) with 29 strikeouts in May...Was 3-0 with an 0.69 ERA (2 ER/26 IP with 27 strikeouts in June before he was promoted to Rochester...Struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings and allowed only two hits against Bowie on June 12...From May 3 to June 18 in Harrisburg, he allowed two or fewer earned runs across nine starts and finished 8-0 with a 0.79 ERA (5 ER/ 57 IP) with 19 walks and 56 strikeouts...From July 6-Aug. 17, he allowed two or fewer earned runs in seven consecutive starts with the Red Wings...During that span, he went 1-2 with a 2.41 ERA (9 ER/ 33.2 IP) with nine walks, 31 strikeouts and an opponent’s batting average of .218 (27-for-124).

Combined to go 4-6 with a 4.04 ERA in 27 games (17 starts) between Single-A Fredericksberg and High-A Wilmington in his first professional season...Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts, while allowing one earned run on six hits and no walks on Sept. 8 against Brooklyn...Promoted to High-A Wilmington on July 2.
