Had his third Major League season cut short by a broken right index finger on Aug. 27... Recalled on June 24...Hit .306 (15-for-49), five doubles, a triple, seven RBI, four walks, two stolen bases and six runs in 18 games for the Nationals... Placed on 10-day Injured List with a fractured/dislocated left second finger on Aug. 29 and was transferred to the 60-day Injured List on Sept. 2... Hit go-ahead 11th-inning double to propel Washington to 7-4 win on June 29 at Los Angeles (AL).

2024

Enjoyed four Major League stints in his second big league season...Put together his strongest Minor League season, hitting .311/.361/.518 in 60 games with Triple-A Rochester...Went 9-for-27 (.333) with three walks, two stolen bases and five runs scored in his final nine games after his Aug. 24 recall...His four stolen bases were tied for fourth among NL catchers despite playing in just 20 games...Checked in with a career-high three hits on June 21 at Colorado (3-for-4, 2B, HR, RBI, BB, R)...Recorded the second-fastest home to first time (4.38) and third-fastest sprint speed (28.3 ft./sec.) among MLB catchers.
