Signed a two-year contract extension for 2008 and 2009 on October 15.
Went 3-1 with a 3.34 ERA (29.1 IP/11 ER) in five starts at Busch. Suffered his first home loss in his 9/21 outing vs. HOU.
Tossed 6.0 or more innings in five of his 11 starts, with QS in all five and a 4-1 record. In his other six starts with less than 6.0
IP, he went 2-3 (one ND).
Posted a 1.59 ERA (2 ER/11.1 IP) in 10 appearances from April 4-May 5 for Boston.
