True T PGH (formerly True T Entertainment) serves as a platform for LGBTQ community resource sharing, queer arts, activism, and entertainment. Through community outreach and safe space making, we are able to share and connect individuals to meaningful life resources while creating opportunities for creative expression.
The Western PA Chapter serves 25 counties in the western part of the state, and is fueled by the efforts of our volunteers to help save lives and support those affected by suicide loss. The counties we cover include: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland.
The grassroots work we do focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide by: delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide. We DO NOT directly provide mental health or crisis service.
Persad Center is an outpatient mental health agency whose mission is to improve the well-being of LGBTQ+ people. Through in-person & telehealth counseling, prevention, outreach, training & support groups, Persad builds stronger, safer and healthier communities. Hugh Lane Wellness is focused on improving the health of the LGBTQ+ and HIV communities in Western Pennsylvania by addressing the Center for Disease Control’s Social Determinants of Health.
