Opening Series vs. San Francisco Giants

The Padres 2024 Opening Day, presented by Sycuan Casino Resort, is set for Thursday, March 28 at 1:10 PM when the Padres host the San Francisco Giants. Help us celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Petco Park and join in on the pageantry, tradition, and fun!

On Friday, it’s a Party in the Park, presented by Southwest Airlines! Enjoy discounted drinks starting at $5, live entertainment, and a ton of fun! The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive an Opening Series Hat, thanks to Sycuan Casino Resort.

On Saturday, arrive early for the Padres House Band, playing your favorite mix of pop, country, and oldies in the brand-new Gallagher Square.

On Sunday, it's our first KidsFest of the year, presented by SDG&E! Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters and other kid-friendly activities. After the game, kids ages 14 and under can run the bases!
