11/20/09 3:01 PM EST

The Phoenix Desert Dogs will face the Peoria Javelinas in the 18th annual Arizona Fall League Championship Game live on MLB Network, Saturday, November 21 at 2:30 p.m. ET. Nationals pitcher and 2009 number one overall draft pick Stephen Strasburg was scratched as the Desert Dogs' starter on Thursday, November 19 due to a twisted left knee. The Desert Dogs' Mitch Talbot (TB) is now scheduled to face Javelinas' starting pitcher Anthony Varvaro (SEA).

MLB Network's Victor Rojas and Tony Clark will call the game from Scottsdale Stadium and MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, will co-produce and provide a free live and on-demand video stream of the game.
