JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp right-handed pitcher Jack Ralston has been named an International League All-Star, Minor League Baseball announced.

A native of Valencia, Calif., Ralston appeared in 39 games for Jacksonville, going 6-2 with a 1.66 ERA. Over 59.2 innings, the 29-year-old ceded only 33 hits while striking out 75 against 29 walks.

Among the 173 pitchers in the International League who tossed at least 50.0 innings in 2026, Ralston ranked first in ERA, hits allowed and batting average against (.156). His 1.04 WHIP placed second, with Ralston’s 31.1 percent strikeout rate coming in 10th.

Ralston was added to the Miami Marlins’ 40-man roster on August 3, his first time on a 40-man roster in his career. He was recalled by the Marlins on August 23 and made his major league debut that day with 2.0 scoreless innings against the Washington Nationals from loanDepot park in Miami. The 29-year-old has pitched in 16 games thus far with the Marlins, posting 19 strikeouts in 17.1 innings.

Ralston was originally selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2019 draft out of UCLA. He reached as high as Triple-A Memphis during his seven years in St. Louis’ organization before electing free agency following the 2025 campaign. The Marlins inked Ralston to a minor league deal in December.

The Jumbo Shrimp have now had an IL All-Star in consecutive seasons. Left-handed pitcher Robby Snelling earned IL All-Star honors following the 2025 campaign.
