Kalamazoo Kevins? You could be the new name of a summer league baseball team

There have been many wild promotions in baseball past: Home run derbies played on aircraft carriers, players wearing asparagus jerseys, Bill Veeck installing exploding scoreboards at Comiskey Park. But what if a team agreed to literally name themselves after you, the dutiful fan? The New York Sarahs ... the San Francisco Bobs?
Well, on June 2, the Northwoods League's Kalamazoo Growlers and Battle Creek Bombers will be doing just that. It's called "15 Minutes of Fame Night" and one lucky fan of each team will assume that team's moniker during the game. Their name and photo will be on the front of the jerseys and hats, they'll throw out the first pitch, they'll be signed to an official one-day contract and they will get their very own bobblehead likeness. They are the team. THE TEAM WILL BE THEM.

Sign up here before Feb. 9 for a chance to win and get your best headshots ready.
