MLB Ballpark Check-in & Digital Ticket Scan Offers Terms & Conditions

MLB Ballpark ("Ballpark") allows users to unlock special offers (each, an "Offer") by checking-in to specified venues while attending, or using a digital ticket to gain admission to, Major League Baseball games, events, or exhibitions (each, a "Game"). By using Ballpark in connection with an Offer, you (a) accept and agree to these Offer Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements, the MLB Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (both accessible in the “About Ballpark” section), (b) give your express permission to be contacted by MLB and/or an applicable Baseball Club (each, a "Club") for Offer administration purposes, and (c) give your express permission to receive limited emails related to your Participation (as defined below) from MLB and/or an applicable Club.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to receive an Offer, you must (i) be either (a) at least eighteen (18) years of age and legal age of majority or (b) at least the age specified in the Additional Offer Details (as defined below) if the age requirement is greater than eighteen (18); (ii) have Ballpark downloaded to your mobile device; and (iii) using Ballpark at the official stadium venue (“Venue”), (a) check-in to a Game within a timeframe specified within Ballpark, (b) gain admission to a Game by scanning a digital ticket stored in Ballpark on your device , or (c) permit your mobile device to share your location with Ballpark ((a) - (c), collectively, "Participate(ing)" or "Participation"). Offers are subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions and to any additional terms ("Additional Offer Details") which may be specified in Ballpark or emailed to you prior to or after you Participate. Limit one (1) Offer per person/per day/per device/per method of Participation. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of any of the MLB Entities (as defined below) and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with an Offer are not eligible to participate or receive such Offer. Message and data rates may apply with download and use of Ballpark. Ballpark users are solely responsible for Internet connectivity, software, and hardware that may be required to Participate. "MLB Entities" means MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball ("BOC"), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees, and Councils, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Baseball Clubs”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Baseball Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities.

OFFER SPECIFICS: Ballpark will make available various types of Offers; certain types are subject to unique terms, as described below. In some cases, Offers may require Participation at multiple Games, all at the same venue, during a single MLB season or another period specified within Ballpark. To redeem an unlocked Offer, follow the instructions provided within Ballpark and the Additional Offer Details (if any). To verify eligibility, you may be required to show a valid Game ticket or photo ID, or provide the phone number associated with the device displaying your Offer. In such case, a representative of the Club, Venue, or other personnel at the redemption location will determine, at his/her sole discretion, whether you are eligible. If, for any Offer, the terms below conflict with the Offer’s Additional Offer Details, the Additional Offer Details shall apply. Offers may have inventory limits and are available while supplies last.

PARTICIPANT BEHAVIOR; INDEMNIFICATION; RELEASE: You may not take actions that are fraudulent, deceptive, negligent, injurious, or reckless in pursuit of any Offer. Participants who do not follow the foregoing rule or who otherwise participate in an unsportsmanlike manner will be disqualified from the Offer. You are solely responsible for any injuries or other damages that are caused, in whole or in part, by your behavior and, by Participating, you agree to indemnify, release, discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties (as defined below) from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, damages, or injuries of any kind with respect thereto.

By Participating, you agree to waive any and all claims against and fully release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, death, or damages of any kind caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by Participating, or resulting from the acceptance, possession, quality, use, or misuse of any Offer (or any portion thereof). “Released Parties” means the MLB Entities, Apple, Inc, and each of their respective parent companies, trustees, subsidiaries, franchisees, assignees, affiliates, licensees, agents, independent contractors, telecasters, sponsors, and advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective general and limited partners, members, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives, and contractors.

GENERAL TERMS: Offer recipients are fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes).
