Adam continues his role as Director of Medical Operations and Head Athletic Trainer for the St. Louis Cardinals, following completion of six seasons as their Assistant Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist. Prior to his time in St. Louis, he served for four seasons as the Medical/Rehab Coordinator for the Cardinals out of their Spring Training Complex in Jupiter, Florida. Olsen is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin and is a graduate of Auburn University where he earned his Athletic Training Certification. Olsen worked as an athletic trainer for Disney's Wide World of Sports and Wildwood High School in the Orlando area before returning to school for his Master’s in Physical Therapy from The University of Wisconsin – Madison. Following graduation, Olsen completed a post-professional Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship at Champion Sports Medicine and the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) under the direction of Dr. James Andrews and Kevin E. Wilk in Birmingham, Alabama. Olsen and his wife, Amy, reside in St. Louis with their daughters, Annabelle Frances and Piper James, and their dog August.
