Daytona Tortugas – A
Carter Graham and Johnny Ascanio both drove in three runs on Wednesday. Graham brought in his runs on two doubles and a triple, while Ascanio knocked in his runs on two singles.
Dayton Dragons – Advanced-A
Pitchers Javi Rivera and Andrew Moore combined for a six-hit shutout in the second game of Dayton’s doubleheader on Wednesday. Rivera earned his third win of the season, and Moore collected his second save. The Dragons split the twin bill with Beloit after losing game one 6-5 in 12 innings.
Chattanooga Lookouts – Double-A
Reds No. 1 prospect Rhett Lowder struck out seven batters in four innings en route to a 9-4 win against the Smokies Wednesday night. Lowder allowed one run on five hits and walked a single batter while on the mound.
Louisville Bats – Triple-A
Rece Hinds and Austin Wynns each launched a solo home run to bring the Bats’ home run streak to 21 games on Wednesday. Hinds has seven home runs on the season and Wynns has four. As a team, the Bats have knocked 66 out of the park this season.
