Astros return to Minute Maid Park for 10-game homestand, May 13-22

Highlights of the homestand include Bayou Bash, Armed Forces Weekend, Hello Kitty Night, Orbit’s Birthday and more

HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros welcome the Oakland A’s, Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels for a 10-game homestand, the longest of the season, May 13-May 22.

Highlights of the homestand include Armed Forces Weekend, Hello Kitty Night, Bayou Bash, Orbit’s Birthday, premium giveaways and more.

Single-game tickets are available for purchase for the homestand, along with a variety of Flex Plan options. From three to 15 games, fans can tailor a package that fits their schedule and budget best. There are pre-set plan options or fans can create their own package. Monday, May 13 – Astros vs. Oakland A’s: 7:10 p.m. CT

The Astros open the 10-game homestand with four against the Oakland A’s. Game one of the series is set for 7:10 p.m. CT at Minute Maid Park.

A Space City Monday, the Astros will don their Nike City Connect Space City uniforms.

The National Anthem will be performed by Lumberton.

Tuesday, May 14 – Astros vs. Oakland A’s: 7:10 p.m. CT

Game two of the series is set for 7:10 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.

It is the first Hello Kitty Night at the ballpark for 2024. 10,000 fans will receive a Hello Kitty bucket hat.

Hello Kitty Night also includes a sold-out VIP event in Union Station and a special 50th anniversary Hello Kitty bobblehead add-on package. The second Hello Kitty Night of the season is set for September 10, and fans will be able to purchase tickets and add-on packages for that night in June. Hello Kitty herself will throw out a ceremonial first pitch in honor of Hello Kitty Night.

The National Anthem will be performed by CO Wilson Middle School.

Wednesday, May 15 – Astros vs. Oakland A’s: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros host the A’s for game three of the series at 7:10 p.m. CT on Wednesday.

In a pregame ceremony, the Astros will honor the CenterPoint Coach of the Month for April. The honoree will be Daniel Rumsey, who is in his third year as the head baseball coach at Texas City High School.

The National Anthem will be performed by Katy ISD Choir.

Thursday, May 16 – Astros vs. Oakland A’s: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros close out the four-game series with the A’s at 7:10 p.m. CT on Thursday.

The National Anthem will be performed by Voices of Mobile.

Friday, May 17 – Astros vs. Milwaukee Brewers: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros open up a three-game series against the Brewers at 7:10 p.m. CT on Friday.

10,000 fans will receive an Orbit bobblehead, presented by Phillips66.

Pregame Happy Hour, presented by Budweiser, will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Bar, where fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Draft, a live DJ and amazing views.

The Astros celebrate Armed Forces Weekend beginning on Friday. U.S. Navy Chaplain, Lieutenant Stephen DeMik, will perform the National Anthem.

In honor of Armed Forces weekend, a portion of the proceeds from Friday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 will go to Combined Arms.

Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, featuring the musical theme of 90s country. Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.

Saturday, May 18 – Astros vs. Milwaukee Brewers: 6:10 p.m. CT
Game two of the series against the Brewers is set for 6:10 p.m. CT.

10,000 fans will receive a Justin Verlander White Replica Jersey, presented by Woodforest Bank.

Bayou Bash, the Astros annual Street Fest, with a Cajun flair, is set for Saturday. Gates will open at 3:10 p.m. CT for Bayou Bash, which will include live music, crawfish, games, face painters, caricaturists, ballon artists, inflatables and more. For more information, visit astros.com/bayourbash.

The Astros will continue the celebration of our Armed Forces with Armed Forces Day, presented by Texas Lottery. The Astros will honor those who protect and serve our country with a special pregame ceremony. Astros fans can also purchase a special Armed Forces Day hat ticket add-on for just $25. In honor of Armed Forces Day, presented by Texas Lottery, our nation’s colors will be presented by the Buffalo Soldiers Museum, while the National Anthem will be performed by U.S. Coast Guard Band.

A ceremonial first pitch, made possible by Houston Area Chevy Dealers, will be thrown out by Retired United States Air Force Senior Airman Sonya Broadway, who served in Saudi Arabia and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat.

Also, in honor of Armed Forces Day, presented by Texas Lottery, a portion of the proceeds from Saturday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 will go to the USO.

Sunday, May 19 – Astros vs. Milwaukee Brewers: 1:10 p.m. CT
The Astros close out the three-game series against the Brewers on Sunday afternoon at 1:10 p.m. CT.

As the Astros celebrate Orbit’s Birthday on Sunday, 10,000 fans will receive an Orbit Fanny Pack, presented by Reliant.

Orbit will celebrate his birthday with a sold-out party in Union Station from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Orbit and his mascot friends will be in attendance, along with face painting, a caricaturist, photo opportunities, snacks and more.

A special Orbit Squishpillow/Hoodie add-on is also available for $30. This special add-on doubles as an Orbit Squishpillow and unzips to a fuzzy green hoodie to match everyone’s favorite mascot, Orbit. To purchase the add-on, fans must have a game ticket for May 19. As Armed Forces Weekend wraps up, the National Anthem will be performed by Jason Browne, U.S. Marine Corps veteran from the McLemore Marine Corps League.

Kids Run the Bases, presented by Olshan Foundation Solutions will take place following the game for kids in attendance ages 5-12.

The National Anthem will be performed by Barbers Hills Middle School North.

Tuesday, May 21 – Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels: 7:10 p.m. CT
Game two of the series against the Angels is set for 7:10 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

10,000 fans will receive an Astros themed artist designed t-shirt, presented by Lexus.

Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.

The National Anthem will be performed by McGown Elementary Honor Choir.

A portion of the proceeds from Tuesday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 will go to Family Houston.

Wednesday, May 22 – Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels: 1:10 p.m. CT
The Astros close out the three-game series with the Angels and the 10-game homestand against the Angels on Wednesday at 1:10 p.m. CT.

The National Anthem will be performed by Barbers Hill Middle School South.

A portion of the proceeds from Wednesday’s LGI Homes Share2Care 50/50 will go to Angel Reach.

ASTROS TV BROADCASTS
Unless otherwise indicated because of a national broadcast, Astros local broadcasts are exclusively on Space City Home Network. Astros fans have plenty of options for viewing all locally available games for the 2024 season on Space City Home Network. With all the proceeds benefiting the Astros Foundation, visit the Astros Memorabilia Tables located right behind Insperity Club at section 120, on the club level and in Hall of Fame Alley in center field inside Minute Maid Park. Open at every home Astros game from the time gates open until the end of the seventh inning, fans can purchase one-of-a-kind bats, baseball, photos, artwork and more signed by current Astros and Astros greats. Other items signed by local Houston celebrities are also available, along with special fundraising items with all the proceeds also going to the Astros Foundation.

ASTROS FOUNDATION AUCTIONS
The Astros Foundation is set to launch online auctions featuring autographed memorabilia at the beginning of specific homestands. These auctions will run until the end of each homestand, with all proceeds benefiting the Astros Foundation. Every auction will be held on the MLB Houston Astros Auction website.
