CITY CONNECT FRIDAY

The Orioles will wear their City Connect jerseys at each Friday home game throughout the regular season. This year, every City Connect Friday will be dedicated to Harlem Park Elementary Middle School. As part of the Orioles’ Adopt-A-School campaign, Harlem Park students and staff will attend batting practice and participate in pregame ceremonies. Orioles players and coaching staff will also wear Harlem Park themed batting practice shirts.

50/50 RAFFLE AT ORIOLE PARK AT CAMDEN YARDS

Beginning, Friday, May 10, the Orioles will host a 50/50 Raffle at each regular season home game to benefit a charity in the Baltimore community and the Ted Williams Foundation, giving fans the opportunity to make a direct impact across Birdland, while trying to hit the jackpot at Camden Yards. Raffle tickets may be purchased from uniformed raffle-ticket sellers and via QR codes throughout the ballpark until the end of the 7th inning. The winning number will be announced in the bottom of the 8th inning. The first 50/50 Raffle will benefit the Living Classrooms Foundation, a Baltimore organization focused on providing hands-on learning opportunities for individuals of all ages at their Crossroads Public Charter Middle School, community centers, workforce development programming, aboard their historic ships, and in their urban green spaces.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: The Baltimore City College Choir

THE BALTIMORE CITY COLLEGE CHOIR will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. Members of the choir will also perform “This Land Is Your Land” from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

ORIOLES FAMILY PROGRAM VOLUNTEER PROJECT WITH SHAREBABY

In celebration of Mother’s Day, members of the Orioles Family Program will participate in a volunteer project at SHAREBABY. Volunteers will make diaper packs for families, organize and count clothes and other donated items, and write care cards. ShareBaby helps to address the unmet basic needs of Baltimore’s most vulnerable children through the distribution of diapers and other essential items.

NURSES APPRECIATION WEEK, presented by MedStar Health

In celebration of Nurses Appreciation Week, the Orioles and MedStar Health will recognize hardworking nurses in our community by providing 300 game tickets to MedStar nurses.

A representative from MEDSTAR HEALTH will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

HEROES CORNER, presented by The Good Feet Store: Teachers of Maryland

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Orioles will donate tickets to teachers from across the state of Maryland as part of their Heroes Corner program, presented by The Good Feet Store, recognizing their hard work and dedication. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community.

ALUMNI AUTOGRAPHS: Mike Bordick, Rick Krivda, and Aaron Rakers

O's alumni BORDICK, KRIVDA, and RAKERS will be on Eutaw Street, near the New Era cap store, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to sign autographs for fans, free of cost.

The first 20,000 fans ages 15 and over will receive a MR. SPLASH BOBBLEHEAD.

GUEST SPLASHER: DAVID RUBENSTEIN

Orioles Owner and Control Person, DAVID RUBENSTEIN, also known as RUBENSPLASH, will be the first guest splasher of the year on Friday. Rubensplash will be in the in the Bird Bath, located in Section 86, during the second and third innings.

HONOR GUARD: Baltimore County Fire Department Honor Guard

The BALTIMORE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT HONOR GUARD will present the colors from the field during the national anthem.

SHAREBABY ESSENTIAL CHILDREN’S ITEMS COLLECTION DRIVE

In celebration of Mother’s Day, the Orioles will host a collection drive at the ballpark to benefit ShareBaby, a local non-profit focused on supporting unmet needs of Baltimore’s most vulnerable children. Fans are asked to donate essential children’s items, including diapers sizes newborn-6, clothing sizes newborn to 6, baby wipes, and brand-new bottles. Donation bins will be located at Gates A, D, and H.

TICKET DONATION: Port of Baltimore Longshoremen

The Orioles will donate 2,000 tickets to Port of Baltimore longshoremen who have been impacted by the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in March. The Port of Baltimore longshoremen are essential in keeping cargo moving and continuing the port’s tradition of excellence.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Negro League Recognition

In celebration of Negro League Baseball Day in the State of Maryland, the Orioles will welcome former Negro League players SAM ALLEN and PEDRO SIERRA, as well as former Negro League Barnstormer LUTHER ATKINSON, to the ballpark. SIERRA played in the Negro League from 1954 to 1958, spending time with the Indianapolis Clowns and Detroit Stars. His success led to a long minor league career as a member of the Minnesota Twins and Washington Senators organizations. ALLEN split three seasons between the Kansas City Monarchs and Memphis Red Sox from 1957 to 1959 before being drafted into the U.S. Army the following year. ATKINSON played for the Wilson All-Stars and Satchel Paige's All-Stars, where he learned from and played with National Baseball Hall of Famer SATCHEL PAIGE.

In recognition of Negro League Baseball Day in the State of Maryland, a representative from the NEGRO LEAGUES will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

Maryland Gold Star Mothers strive to find strength in fellowship, while keeping the memory of their sons and daughters alive by working to help veterans, current military members and their families, and their community. Together, the Orioles and RBR-Technologies will provide the group with a complimentary catered suite, O's themed military hats and t-shirts, and an in-game welcome.

NAMI improves the lives of individuals who are living with mental health conditions, their families, and communities through education, support, and advocacy. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community.

Orioles play-by-play announcer GEOFF ARNOLD will perform his rendition of the national anthem and O Canada from behind home plate prior to the game.

FIRST PITCH: Vlad Guerrero, Sr.

National Baseball Hall of Famer and former Oriole VLADIMIR GUERRERO, SR. will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Guerrero was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2018 after a 15-year career spent with four teams, including the Montreal Expos (7), Los Angeles Angels (6), Texas Rangers (1), and Orioles (1). He retired following the 2011 season with a .318 career batting average, 449 home runs, 1,496 RBI, and more than 2,590 hits. He was a nine-time All-Star, eight-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and was named the 2004 BBWAA American League Most Valuable Player.

The Orioles will welcome approximately 12,000 students and staff from 90 area schools to Oriole Park at Camden Yards for their annual Field Trip Day. Students and staff in attendance will learn how weather and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics topics impact the game of baseball. Special guests will include WBAL-TV’s DALENCIA JENKINS, AVA MARIA, and MEGAN RIVERS, along with Orioles Vice President and Assistant General Manager SIG MEJDAL, First Base Coach ANTHONY SANDERS, and Senior Director of Field Operations NICOLE SHERRY.

TAPS provides comfort, care, and resources to those grieving the death of a military loved one. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community. Members from TAPS will also stand on the field with Orioles players and coaches during the national anthem.

U.S. SECRET SERVICE LIVESCAN CHILD ID STATION

The U.S. Secret Service Baltimore Field Office will be on Eutaw Street to provide public safety information to families. Parents will also have the opportunity to create “Livescan Child ID” cards that they can use to provide to law enforcement if their child were to ever go missing.

YOUTH SPORTS DAY

More than 5,000 youth sport participants will parade around the warning track prior to the game.
